Dr. Sonna is a Licensed
Psychologist in the State of Texas. She has held New Mexico licenses
as a Professional Clinical Counsellor, school psychologist, school counselor,
teacher of modern languages, and teacher of English as a second language.
As a writer, Dr. Sonna has
authored twelve parenting books, and she wrote a nationally syndicated column for ten years. Her poems and essays have appeared in a variety of literary
journals.
Dr. Sonna is Professor of
Counseling Psychology at Yorkville
University, a distance master's program headquartered in Canada,
for which she develops and teaches the Multicultural Counselling and the Master's Case Presentation
courses.
She currently resides in San
